2. I think that Parvana's father's decision is really brave because even though he is not well he is risking his health so he could find the rest of the family. I would do the same because without my family I have no purpose to do anything.
3. I thought that the book was great because it was very interesting since there was a lot of drama and that it explained how people in Afghanistan was trying to get by so they can survive. The part that was the most interesting to me was when Parvana's father got taken by the Taliban because the Taliban said," Afghanistan doesn't need your foreign ideas!" (p. 31 paragraph 1). Without that part the story would be meaningless and there would be no point in this book. And that without that incident the story couldn't go on because the whole point of the book is supposed to show how life in Afghanistan is hard and difficult.
